Exfoliation. Extraction. Hydration.

What is HydraFacial?

HydraFacial is a revolutionary skincare treatment renowned for its ability to rejuvenate and revitalize the skin, leaving it looking and feeling refreshed. This non-invasive procedure is designed to target a wide array of common skin concerns, all in one comprehensive session. At its core, HydraFacial employs a unique Vortex-Fusion technology that combines five essential skincare steps into a single treatment: cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration, and antioxidant protection.

To begin a treatment with HydraFacial Narberth patients will get a thorough cleansing and exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and impurities, effectively preparing the skin for subsequent steps. Next, a gentle acid peel is applied to loosen debris and dirt from the pores, followed by a painless suction technique to extract impurities such as blackheads and debris from the skin's surface. One of the standout features of HydraFacial is its hydration step, where the skin is infused with a specialized blend of hydrating serums, replenishing moisture and nourishing the complexion. Finally, the treatment concludes with antioxidant protection, helping to safeguard the skin against environmental damage and maintain a healthy, youthful glow. This comprehensive approach results in visibly clearer, smoother, and more radiant skin, making HydraFacial a popular choice for individuals seeking quick, effective, and non-invasive skincare solutions.

Replenish and Nourish

What are the benefits of HydraFacial?

HydraFacial is safe for all skin types and is well tolerated, but there are some contraindications. Patients with known cancer, active infections, severe cystic acne, pregnancy, or who are breastfeeding should not have a HydraFacial.Additionally, patients who have been prescribed Accutane should not have HydraFacial for at least six months from the last dose, as Accutane can thin skin, and HydraFacial can lead to scarring and worsening skin problems.

Cleansing and exfoliation can remove acne-causing bacteria and sebum and treat blackheads and whiteheads. Exfoliation also removes damaged skin cells and may reduce the signs of rosacea, wrinkles, and fine lines. And much more!

Prepare for Your HydraFacial Treatment

Stop Isotretinoin

Before beginning HydraFacial, all Isotretinoin products (Accutane, Absorica, etc.) must be discontinued for at least 6 months, as these products thin the skin and may lead to scarring with hydradermabrasion.

Adjust Your Skincare Routine

Discontinue any harsh skincare and exfoliating products or treatments 2-days prior to your HydraFacial.

Avoid Resurfacing Treatments

You should wait for at least a month to get a HydraFacial if you have had any of the following:

  • Laser Skin Resurfacing
  • Chemical Peels
  • Microdermabrasion
  • Dermabrasion
  • Microneedling
  • IPL Photorejuvenation

Stay out of the Sun

Try to avoid too much Sun exposure for 3-4 days prior to your HydraFacial.

A Three-Step Process

Your HydraFacial Procedure

HydraFacial, sometimes known as "hydradermabrasion," employs a patented Vortex-Fusion delivery system that achieves deep skin cleansing, gentle exfoliation, and effective hydration while providing painless extractions. This innovative system unfolds in three meticulously designed steps:

CLEANSE + PEEL: The initial phase combines botanical cleansers with hydrating and soothing ingredients to thoroughly cleanse the skin. The subsequent "peel" phase involves the use of a gentle chemical exfoliation blend, which includes glycolic and salicylic acids to unveil a more radiant complexion. During this step, you may experience a mild tingling sensation from the chemical peel, but it should not cause any discomfort.

EXTRACT + HYDRATE: In this step, the HydraFacial system employs a gentle yet effective suction mechanism to extract debris from the pores, ensuring a deep and painless cleaning process. Following the extraction, the skin is replenished with a rich infusion of intense moisturizers, leaving it well-hydrated and revitalized.

FUSE + PROTECT: The final phase involves saturating the skin's surface with a potent combination of antioxidants and peptides. This infusion serves to maximize your skin's radiance and overall health, providing protection against environmental stressors and promoting a lasting, youthful glow.

After Your Treatment

HydraFacial Recovery and Aftercare

After a HydraFacial treatment, it's essential to follow some simple aftercare steps to maximize and maintain the benefits. Firstly, continue to protect your skin from direct sun exposure for at least a few days post-treatment by applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. Avoid using harsh skincare products or exfoliants for a few days to allow your skin to heal naturally. Staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water is important to support skin recovery. Additionally, it's advisable to follow any specific skincare recommendations provided by your HydraFacial provider, as they may suggest products tailored to your skin's needs to prolong the treatment's effects. Overall, the aftercare for a HydraFacial is straightforward, and most individuals can resume their regular skincare routine and daily activities shortly after the treatment.
